Pet peeves: "email forwards," and people who pass on the highway over solid lines (especially near intersections where I'm about to turn left!)

My eBay History;
I'm just starting out. I've been reading up on eBay selling and doing research. Decided to proceed cautiously, try to avoid mistakes, and see if I can sell some of the extras I have around the house, but most importantly, building up to sell - my books!

A Litte More "Personal" About Me;
I've always had a runaway imagination, and years ago I dreamed that I'd marry a fine, intelligent gentleman who would make all these ideas for small businesses come true. Well, instead-- God brought me home to look after my aged parents, and took time to mature me, and show me that I could carry out a lot of these ideas myself!

It's been slow because I've started on a zero budget. Mom passed away November of 1997, and I continued as Dad's live-in caregiver with free room and board as my compensation. I spent eight years online from right there in the living room (Dad was in his favourite chair), and my learning curve was steep! I felt like I'd been to university a couple of times!

From all the FREE information out there on the net, I've taught myself web design, have published my novel by POD (in the marketing stage now), and have made a number of good friends around the world, especially through my novel-site, Ruthes-Secret Roses and my weekly blog, The RoseBouquet. My novel and that site often refer to my friends as roses in my garden of friendship. All the while I've tried out a number of free income programs, and discarded a lot of them as I've become more discerning.

At my genealogy web site, A Godly Inheritance I'm getting hits and people are contacting me, so I hope those GEDCOMs and family history eBooks will be as popular in sales as the topic generally is on the net now.

I've registered my main business, Bouquet of Enterprises, with my home province, Saskatchewan, in Canada, and also the subsiduary virtual assistant and web design business that I call Azaleas Virtual Assistants.

If you really are keen to get to know me, I suggest you go exploring all over my Ruthe's Secret Roses site, and order the novel. I gave the heroine all the best parts of me! (GRIN)!

This site, Bouquet of Enterprises has changed in focus a bit, in that now I have plenty of work - more than I can accomplish almost. I do some missionary work for Western Tract Mission, Inc. (about 1/3 of my time), some paying web design clients, and some misisons sites that I do simply because I volunteered when I had more time and I haven't the heart to leave them in a lurch. What time I can guard for my own web businesses, I now spend on improving my websites and monetizing them. I long to be in a position to spend most of my time giving away funds to worthy missions and ministries and individuals.

Obviously, I haven't reached that point yet, so I try to do everything at once and spread myself rather thin!

My heart goes out to those who would like to be able to make a living from a web business too, and so as I can, I am describing some small businesses and showing you what you need to do, to set that up for yourself. I sincerely hope it helps you in some way, whether larger or small.
