Whitelisting emails from BouquetofEnterprises.biz
Increasingly, ISPs (ex., earthlink.net, comcast.net) and mail services (ex., Hotmail) are using
filtering systems to try and keep spam out of customers' inboxes. Sometimes, though, they
accidentally filter the e-mail that you do want to receive.
Please do not blame your ISP or mail service. The volume of spam is enormous and the algorithms to
figure out what is spam (and what is not) are complicated. So mistakes do happen.
We all have to deal, unfortunately, with the fallout of what spammers do to the Internet.
Naturally, you want to keep spam out. And you want to receive important communications -- Support
e-mail, our e-zines and any other e-mail that you request (and we only EVER send e-mail that you
request).
To make sure that BouquetofEnterprises.biz mail is not deleted or filtered into a "junk" or "bulk"
folder, please add *at* bouquetofenterprises.biz to your list of trusted senders/your address
book/contact list (in your e-mail software) and to your ISP/mail service's whitelist...
This should guarantee that you will receive whatever e-mail you need... Support replies (should you
ever need support), or post-order e-mails (if you order a product). I only send e-mail that you
specifically request or to answer you.
In fact, most of the time I'm so busy just answering emails that I rarely ever initiate new emails
to my closest friends. ~GRIN~ I just keep answering them!
It's a shame to bother you like this, but blame it on the spammers. Your ISP or mail service is only
trying to protect you. The bottom line is that things have become so complicated in the
ever-escalating war between spammers and ISPs/mail services, that you and we are accidentally caught
in their cross-fire.
I am trying to keep abreast of developments, and I know that various groups and governments are
working towards some solutions. Some better and some worse!
If you'd like to do the same I recommend you read and bookmark these pages;

where you'll learn some steps you can take to cope with this huge program in your own life, and on
your web site if you have one.
I also recommend you go to www.iCop.org and join there. You'll get
the best scoops in the the Trade Journal each week!
P.S. What should you do if you cannot whitelist us?
You may not be able to whitelist for one or more reasons...
1) Your ISP will not do it -- bad ISPs may make up all kinds of excuses, or even blame
us, but the bottom line is that they are not delivering e-mail that YOU want. Period.
2) You can't get their support group to tell you how to whitelist. Either they don't answer
you, or they dance around the question, or deflect blame.
3) They don't provide the tools to whitelist, or the tools don't work. For example, the "safe
list" at Hotmail does not work when you want to permit an address through their filter.
4) Your ISP responds to a whitelist request BY TURNING OFF THE SPAM FILTERS COMPLETELY.
That's like asking someone to put a gate in the high wall around your house and the reply is...
"Sure, we'll just take the ENTIRE wall down." Allowing spam is an irresponsible and
self-focused response to a valid request -- it merely turfs the problem back onto the customer,
which is an unacceptable reply. Do not accept this poor proposition.
No matter what the reason, it all boils down to the same thing. You have a bad ISP who is not
fulfilling their obligation to you. You won't get what you want with an ISP like that. So what
to do??
1) Complain by sending an e-mail to "abuse@" and "postmaster@" followed by the domain (ex.,
if you are using an address@hotmail.com, send your complaint to abuse@@hotmail.com and
postmaster@@hotmail.com). Mail to those addresses has an excellent chance of being seen. You might
not get a reply, but regardless, it is important to register a complaint when a company does not
deliver the service for which you contracted.
