The Internet has spawned a whole new field is called Virtual Office Assistants. Many solo web-business owners discover that they don't have the talents or time to run all aspects of their business by themselves. They don't want to hire full-time staff to come into their home, so they go online and find someone to contract for certain specific job or jobs. Most of their inter-office exchange happens by email, or fax, or telephone, and sometimes by regular mail.

I've been doing this for a few years, but have come to that brick wall myself. I don't have enough time for all the jobs offered to me. Being fairly resourceful, I've been running my own web-businesses, and some for others, yet discovering one woman can only do so much.

As staff will increase we will offer more, such as book preparation for self-publishing, resume-writing, web-business design and even long-term maintenance, public relations and promotional work, perhaps handling of accounts and bookkeeping, dealing with your public, managing your blog/ezine, and possibly ghost-writing articles and books to make you appear to be an expert in your field.

One of the things my proposed coursewill teach you is how to base your whole business on the SiteBuildIt suite of services. It is the creme de la creme of what is out there. An SBI site is usually in the top 1% of visited sites on the net! However, you can go ahead, get your own SBI suite, and make use of the wonderful support staff and forums. So if you are willing to put in the time, you can get a web business without coming to me to take this course.
